Clothing Program

Our M.A.G.I Ministry

Every Tuesday afternoon a community supported clothing ministry is open to the public. Clothes, small household items and food are donated from area residents and businesses, sorted and then provided to anyone who is in need of these items free of charge.

This program is staffed by a combination of church and community, with all participants sharing a passion to help those in need. The span of this program reaches well beyond the Brighton area… through assistance in disaster relief in other states, ministry to the poor in other countries in partnership with sister congregations, and individual efforts where packages are sent to friends and families in need.
This program lead by one of our members, Gail Miller, is one of the most impactful M.A.G.I programs in the country. For those who may not know, M.A.G.I stands for Making A Godly Impact and is part of the Healing Hands International organization. Each year, hundreds of Christians across the U.S. prepare thousands of M.A.G.I. gift boxes to be delivered to children in need, in Honduras, Mexico, Texas-Mexico Border, the Dominican Republic, and Zambia.  These boxes are filled with gifts from people who want to bring joy to the children who get them. The boxes are indeed received by thousands of smiling children. M.A.G.I. helps spread joy through items but spreads the word that Jesus Christ is the true gift.

Shults-Lewis

Great information coming soon about this incredible ministry.
Shults-Lewis Child and Family Services is a dynamic treatment program for struggling teens and their families. At Shults-Lewis, we believe that families shouldn’t have to struggle alone and our residential environment, staffed by Christian houseparents and counselors, offers counseling, love, acceptance and, most of all, hope to teens and their families.

Our Shults-Lewis ministry utilizes some of the donations made to our clothing program, inspects them and boxes them up to be sent to the Shults-Lewis program. Our ministry continually provides financial and spirtual support as Shults-Lewis continues to carry forward the tradition of excellence in Christian child and family care.

Send The Light

Send The Light, founded in 2009, is a program allowing individuals to sponsor charitable organizations simply by making a one-time donation or by making ongoing monthly donations, even if it is nominal or limited.  These contributions, on a continual basis, large or small, help organizations stay in operation.

Send The Light bridges this gap by identifying and working with organizations whose charitable works make a positive impact allowing the continuation of their work by receiving crucial monetary assistance. From building orphaneges, to drilling wells, Send The Light helps numerous people across India while spreading Gods word.
